Triple F

Triple F offers a variety of program formats to provide opportunities for adults to engage in Fellowship, Fun, and Food. Active since 1982, the group meets in the morning on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Programs range from invited speakers and workshops to trips and breakfasts at local restaurants. The group hosts an annual spring picnic and a Christmas event. Membership is open to all interested persons -- regardless of Church membership, residence, or age – with an interest in joining a community of friendship. Learn about upcoming activities and more on the Triple F webpage.

Softball Team

CPC will be sponsoring a softball team for the 2024 season (Griffis Street Lollygagers). The season starts end of March and runs through the first of June with games on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Thomas Brooks fields. Reach out to Troy Burton or Hunter Piermont for more details.
Players, family and friends also spend time in fellowship together at a local restaurant after most games. All are warmly encouraged to attend games, cheer on our teams, and participate in the fellowship time afterwards!

Book Clubs

CPC is blessed to have many avid readers as well as a well-stocked library. Cool Books Club members meet monthly to share their love of reading and expand their faith, focusing on books with theological and/or social issues. Currently, they are meeting the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

As an outreach of love and compassion, members of CPC spend time together knitting and praying over shawls and blankets that are given to those who could use comfort at challenging times in their lives. If you or someone you know would appreciate having a prayer shawl, or you would like to be part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, please call the church office at 919-467-8700, or use the contact form below.

Card Writing Ministry

CPC’s on-going concern and care for one another shows up in mailboxes! Members of the Card Writing ministry send warm thoughts and encouraging words to those who are included in our "Joys and Concerns" shared during Sunday worship. Camille Lambe coordinates this ministry. You can contact her through the church office.
