The Session of Cary Presbyterian Church Has Called an Annual Meeting of the Congregation and Corporation

Sunday, February 8, following the 11:00 a.m. worship service

  1. Recieve as information the 2014 CPC Annual Report
  2. Act on recommendations pertaining to the election of the CPC Nominating Team.
  3. Act on the installed pastors' terms of call for 2015
  4. Act on any other maters pertaining to the corporation.

The Not So Silent Retreat at Cedar Cross Retreat Center

January 30 at 5:00 p.m. to January 31 at 4:00 p.m. the Spiritual Practices Ministry Team is sponsoring a retreat focused on the theme of “Transformation." We will explore – both together and individually – the transformative moments of our own lives, while pondering how to nurture the potential of transformation for the future. We will have periods of group discussion and times of silence. The $85 registration fee includes overnight accommodations and three meals. SOUPer Bowl of Caring

Led again this year by our Confirmands, the SOUPer Bowl of Caring is next Sunday, February 1. Please be generous in supporting the Dorcas Food Pantry either by donating a canned good (or two or three) or by putting your cash donation into the soup pots which will be available after the worship services that day. Last year the confirmation class collected about $200!

Pancake Dinner

All-you-can-eat pancakes, sausages, fruit, and beverages!

February 17 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets are available at the door that evening: $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for children ages 2 to 12, under 2 free, $15 max per family. Donations will go towards our expanding mission work in Guatemala. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, cooking, serving, and clean-up. CPC Annual Heart Healthy Potluck

February 22nd immediately following the Altogether Worship Service

Bring your favoirte dish. The congregation will vote for their favorite heart healthy appetizer, entree, side dish and dessert. The winners of each category will reeive a special prize!

Fair Trade Coffee Sales

Thanks for continuing to support the Presbyterian Coffee Project. The products that you or your children select will help further fair pay and working conditions for small farmers. Look for the Fair Trade table before or after 11am worship on the next All Together Sunday. Or pre-order via email here.
