Yoga & Labyrinth Walk

News from the Spiritual Practices Ministry Team:

On the first Wednesday of each month, starting 11/5/14 at 7 pm, we are offering a gentle meditative yoga class in conjunction with the monthly labyrinth walk. You can walk the labyrinth (starting at 5:30) and then attend the class, or come just for the class. Yoga is a vast collection of spiritual techniques and practices aimed at integrating mind, body and spirit. Yoga is a practice of personal inquiry and exploration. Hatha yoga will be practiced through a series of gentle yoga postures, breathing and body gestures, along with meditation. Meditation is a core element of yoga, because it takes us beyond our mindís habitual thoughts and puts us in touch with our essential spiritual nature. All levels and first timers are encouraged to come. Donation of $7-10 per session is suggested. Instructor is Jody Probert, a registered yoga trainer and licensed clinical social worker. Questions? Contact Jeanne Bolick via email.
