Ministry Areas

Each CPC Ministry Area has responsibility for administering or sponsoring activities and tasks that support its mission or program; addressing and developing solutions for issues or problems that arise; and monitoring the health, relevancy and integrity of its ongoing operation.

Joining a standing team or ministry is a great way to become connected with the church while volunteering your time and/or talents. While it may appear that our ministry areas and teams are fully staffed, in truth we need everyone to serve. Simply call a ministry area team lead to express your interest and he or she will let you know about opportunities that range from a commitment of just an hour a month to ongoing service.

Working closely with our pastors, caregivers telephone those in need, deliver Easter lilies, and deliver Christmas poinsettias. They respond to joys, as well as concerns. Caregivers will also provide a simple reception following a funeral or memorial service. The team also can provide a meal for the family before or after a funeral. A Caregivers team member can participate in any one or all of the caregiver activities.

If you are in need of caregiver services, or would like to serve on the team, contact a pastor, or the Christian Fellowship Ministry team lead.
