Worship Services

8:30 a.m. Worship
Our early morning service is a more intimate, contemplative worship experience. Traditional elements, including liturgies, hymns, scripture and sermon remain, but the order of service has recently been modified to include more opportunity for silent prayer and reflection.

11:00 a.m. Worship
Our 11:00 a.m. service is a blend of traditional and more contemporary music, liturgy experiences and celebrations of our lives together.

Blest Be the Tie that Binds - a familiar hymn and now a ministry at Cary Presbyterian that invites us to record and share our stories. Patterned after National Public Radio's popular StoryCorps program, TTB was approved by Session in an effort to address one of the top three priorities established by our congregation: to be more intentional in our effort to connect with one another, our own community and the world. Thanks to Dick and Dee for being the first to sign up!

5:00 p.m., Friday October 7 to 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 8 at Cedar Cross Retreat Center (www.cedarcrossretreat.org). Cost $85 per person includes overnight lodging and three meals. Why is it "Not-So-Silent"? We want you to know that during the 23 hour retreat, there will be blocks of quiet time, interspersed with optional discussion and guided meditation time. So you have the option of spending the entire time in silence, or participating in some or all of the discussion/activity sessions. Questions? Contact Jeanne Bolick at jlbolick@att.net or talk with any of the planners - Diane Garber, Becky Hambrick, Jason Troiano, Cindy and Bill Leslie.
